Great Taste, If You Can Get It to Brew!

Like every other product I’ve ordered from this site so far, the Deca Intenso offers an absolutely outstanding price-to-performance ratio. It continues the trend of high-quality, budget-friendly finds that keep me coming back.

The Flavor
The taste is truly excellent. It’s bold, rich, and full-bodied—exactly what you’d expect from an "Intenso" blend. To be honest, if I didn’t know any better, I wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s decaf. It hits all the right notes without that chemical aftertaste sometimes found in caffeine-free options.

The "But..."
However, I’ve encountered a rather frustrating technical snag. About 30% of the capsules fail to brew on the first try. I often find myself re-inserting the same capsule into the machine multiple times to get it to work. In some cases, I’ve had to throw capsules away entirely because even after 4 or 5 attempts, the machine simply wouldn't process them.

Important Note
I want to clarify that this isn't a machine error. My coffee maker handles every other brand and variety from this site perfectly. There seems to be a specific compatibility or structural issue with this particular capsule batch that prevents a smooth brew every time.

The Verdict: If you’re willing to gamble a bit on the "mechanical" side for the sake of a delicious, affordable decaf, it’s worth a shot. But be prepared for a little morning frustration!

Bonjour, dans l'ensemble je suis satisfait du goût des différents cafés reçus, par contre certaines capsules fonctionnent très mal sur ma machine Nespresso Krups XN100, notamment une capsule jaune dont le haut est assez différent de celles d'origine... et ce n'est pas la seule.
